> You do appear to be enjoying Leeds' demise a tadge too much.

Kindly keep your tadge to yourself - I don't wish to know about your tadges
demise.
For your information, I am beside myself with grief over events at ER.

> You are full of 'Told you so' who exactly do you support?
> Leeds or your entries here?

My 'entries here' - que? Keep off the pop before emailing Chris.
I support Leeds United as I have since I was 5 years old - who do you
support?
Oh yes, you get 'more enjoyment watching Farsley Celtic' than you do Leeds
United - says it all really.
I listened for 2 years to so called experts like you tell me how shit we
were under Blackwell and how things would be so much better if he was
sacked. Well he's been sacked and things are worse - so why is that? Could
all you experts perhaps be wrong?

> I'll meet you for a drink if you want

Why would I want to? Try meeting up with Rich Walker - he seems to need a
friend.

> I won't buy you a pint tho'

It's ok I won't be there and Rich says he's buying.

>
> It's Blackwell's mess that Wise is cleaning up.

Really? You mean Blackwell who finished 14th and 6th? Utter Bollox! 'Anyone
but Blackwell would have got us automatic promotion with this squad'. Wise's
'cleaning up' has us rooted in 24th! The 'win ratio' everyone raves about is
0.25 for Wise and 0.31 for Blackwell.
By your reasoning we shouldn't have sacked Venables cos he was only tidying
up O'Leary's mess....utter tosh.
>
> Last year was a farce

Correction, this year IS a farce.
We've just lost 3-2 to Sheffield Wednesday at home - that's farcical.
We've got 4 points from the last 7 games and scored 5 goals - that's
farcical.
We've lost TWENTY THREE games this season - that's bloody farcical.
It took Blackwell 2 seasons to lose that many games.

> - we were awful but we got lucky.

I'd rather be awful and stay up - wouldn't you?
As for lucky - you make your own luck.
If you can't defend for toffee and you can't hit a barn door with a barge
pole then you don't deserve to be lucky.

> We
> played football
> from Boxing day vs cov until the announcer at the Norwich
> game announced
> Sheff Utd were losing - the rest was trash

It wasn't pretty but it was certainly effective.
It still achieved the desired outcome of a play off final didn't it?

> The good bit in between had nowt to do
> with Blackwell

NOWT!?!?
Nowt at all?
So the bad bit must have had nowt to do with him either.
Who the hell it had to do with then is beyond me.
Maybe it was Eddie Gray or Peter Lorimer.
Perhaps you experts can explain the paradox of how a manager is ONLY
responsible for the bad results and the good results are none of his doing
or just luck?

> Once the refs whistle had blown to start a game - he didn't
> have a clue.

And who are you to judge?
How do you know who does and doesn't have a clue after the ref's whistle
blows?

> At no point during a game did Blackwell ever try to change
> his gameplan.

And this tactic failed so miserably he finished 14th and then 6th in the
league?
He's not the only manager reluctant to change his gameplan either is he?
Eriksson didn't like to change his gameplan and everyone claimed he was
rubbish too - but McLaren is struggling to qualify whereas with Eriksson
qualification was rarely in doubt.
O'Leary stuck to his gameplan and we were worse after he'd gone.
Maybe they just trusted their own initial judgement - you'd say wrongly but
that's only in your opinion, and seriously what value is your opinion?
How do you know that changing things mid game would have made it any better?

Answer: You don't, but it's easy to say it would and profess to be an
expert.
It's so easy to say 'if only the manager had done what I think he should
have done we'd have won', he gets paid hundreds of thousands a year to make
those decisions - ever wondered why you don't?

> What's the psychology of someone who calls another a wanker ?

If you keep playing with your tadge then you are a wanker, no argument.

Cheers
Paul
