The buyback prices are multiples of rent payable and the rent increases over 
time.  £18M is the current buyback total approx for both TA & E Rd, 
excluding costs and stamp duty etc.

The club has the benefit of the buyback clauses and nobody else can exercise 
them, so any purchase by a third party (via the buyback clauses) would 
require the full co-operation of the club. With that full co-operation it 
could be done and the council could still have security over the ground.

Yes the council did used to own the ground.
