I talked to Crainey at a reserves game about a month ago now - he was just about fit then. Shrugged his shoulders when asked if he'd be back in the first team and gave me a resigned look.
I think the simple answer is that D&G regard him as 3rd choice at least as LB - now 4th? There was a rumour the other day of him going to Forest on loan.
