No it doesn't but I think it shows what Wise is aiming
for and what we are capable of with him in charge.

I don't know if you were at that game but by all
accounts we were very poor first half. I'm not on
about the result and coming back from being behind I'm
on about 'passion and commitment' and to get a
standing ovation despite going in a 1-0 in the current
anti-Wise/BAtes climate is impressive.

Well , 5 months is not long in footy management and
when you consider the mess Blackwell left us in with a
bunch of old has beens it's no surprise to me that the
recovery has been slow.
Will they repeat it for the last 6 games ? Who knows
but if they play like they did on Friday they will
stay up. If they don't we'll go down. Interesting int
it ?

Yes , well I thought it was a relevant comparison
especially when last year we were surposed to have
been riding high and marching on to the premier
league. This time around we're struggling like fuck
and some Leeds fans are shouting for the manager out -
so I think it's a valid comparison. Also, the away leg
at Preston - I thought we didn't play well that night
- just showed a lot of commitment that got us through.

It's not bias Paul, it's optimism and a feeling that
we have got better than Blackwell and we are heading
in the right direction. Come on Paul, you must have
been sick to the back teeth of watching Crainey,
Butler and Gregan every week.

Ups and downs Paul, ups and downs - as in the song. 4
unbeaten games, near the top of the form charts and
you're only as good as your last game and we were
fucking brilliant.

Hurray we agree and you said you felt like you did
when we beat arsenal - well Paul, have you felt like
that under Blackwell ? Even the Preston away win last
season - it was good for a night but every knew we
were going nowhere. Like you it was the best feeling
for years - credit to Wise.

I think Wise probably thinks we're a bunch of wankers
- that's ok 'cos we think he's a wanker. In fact he
probably knows he's a wanker.
