I remember reading the autobiography of one of the England players of the 60s
(I think it was Jimmy Greaves) who said that when he was on tour with England
in Brazil they were relaxing on the beach in Rio, when they got challenged to a
game. A side comprising more or less the first choice England team of the day
were thrashed by an "unbelievably talented" group of beach footballers!
