Ah yes the night that THREE teams ran out onto the pitch in all white. It was the 1968 Fairs Cup match. After the Leeds Students (Rag week) had wound up the crowd by running out in all white to the usual roar of welcome and then a sudden realisation ....and then left the pitch, both Leeds and Standard Liege were lined up for the kick off with Bremner (I think) having to insist that the referee who didn't seem to have noticed should have one of the teams change strip. The big question is were the hell did anyone find a red strip from at Elland Road ? I hadn't remembered the red strip to be honest..
