Might this be why Bates has spent the last five days ringing everyone
and anyone in Leeds who might just have even a little influence on
Thursday's mmeting - what with Slimy Simon's little Black Book and
Batesy's love-in call centre we are looking at one desperate situation.

There's clearly a lot at stake and several feral mammals scratting
around in the back yard.

The situation is very simple Bates wanted a quick quiet result he
misjudged those in waiting and now yet again our club gets done over.

If you want a football club in Leeds vote to get rid of Bates and to
keep the rest of the scum out. Vote for transparency and meaningful
involvement for those who really care about Leeds United - the supporters.

Bates warns creditors
By Graeme Bailey - Created on 29 May 2007

Ken Bates has warned Leeds United fans that they need to back his bid
for the club.

Leeds went into administration, which sealed their relegation to League
One, just days before it was set to be confirmed on the pitch.

Former chairman Bates immediately formed a new company and agreed to buy
it back from the administrators.

However, under the terms of the Company Voluntary Agreement, creditors
must agree to the proposals put forward by Bates - but they will also
look at offers from other interested parties including businessman Simon
Morris and possibly one from the son of former manager Don Revie, Duncan
Revie.

Bates, though, says creditors need to accept his offer.

"If they want a football club in Leeds they should make sure they vote
the right way ," he told Yorkshire Radio.

"Otherwise, if the CVA fails, I can assure the fans it's unlikely there
will be a Leeds United Football Club.

"Remember Accrington took 45 years to get back to league status from
when they went out of the league.

"Hopefully we can move forward and put the tribulations of the last five
to six years behind us and start again with an open and even playing
field so we can start getting the club back to where it belongs."
