>From what I remember I think Bates offered to buy the club for £x million and supposedly promised the Krasner board extra stuff, like free season tickets for life, a place on the new board, they'd get more money paid back to them when Leeds had the funds or whatever. I made those up by the way, I dont know exactly what was promised, others here do I suspect. Anyway, for one reason or another he didnt fulfil those promises and thats when they threw their toys out of the pram.
