look, all this started because me and mark and the odd other person on the listed used the info available to us to believe carrying on with Bates was the best thing.
You and several others have shot down in flames (some politely, some less so) anything that any of us said with snippets of fact that you . hence I refered to "those in the know inner sanctum etc..." Ages ago i made a comment about bates being the only one around to save the club and more recently Betty mentioned Stubbs. I didnt know a lot about him and the information forthcoming gave him some sort of godlike status (slight exaggeration but not by Betty) and then we decended into this I said this you said this, you took this one way you took it the other way. Enough now! Vanilla fudge is clearly something to do with LUST and is in a priviliged position of knowledge so one would presume he is incognito for a good reason, his job? journo perhaps? who knows except those who have met him. So... Anyway, what would be useful is any inside info on what happens tomorrow. factual etc.... Stubbs , Sainsbury, that other one Parkin all seem to be history from 2 years ago.
