We're in this position because Bates 'chose' administration as the way forward.
Whilst Phil Willis has never been slow on the self-publicity kick, the fact
that 2 offshore companies with no link to the club wiped off £millions without
seemingly blinking probably makes lots of people suspicious.

As far as the 10pts is concerned, hasn't the League already changed it's
rules for future instances? Very unlikely that any alternative 'punishment'
could be applied retrospectively, no matter what MPs may think. The rules as
they stood have been correctly applied.

Where does this leave Leeds - yep, in the media glare again, but remember who
chose this way forward. Had he not griped at the 'silly money' Preston wanted
for Nugent (£4/5 million I think) then we may well have had an Ingerland
international banging in goals for us, but Ken knew best. Had he not chosen
administration (and he probably could have afforded the other path, he just
chose not to) then things would be different.

It leaves us at yet another cross-roads. Who knows what happens next!

I am frankly astonished that any Leeds fan would write to an MP in an
attempt to destabilise Leeds United Football Club now.

The motion opens up with the assertion that avoiding the 10 point deduction
next season was not right.

Hopefully they will do something and ensure we do get a 10pt deduction next
season after all, then whoever wrote to their mp asking for this will be
happy?

This wet weather has resulted in a huge crop of sour grapes this season I
think.
