Yup - that's basically it as far as I know, first they get the exclusive rights to premiership games (wasn't it them who encouraged the break from the football league in the first place?), and so get thousands of people subscribing to SKY and then of course even more money to subscribe to the sports channels. Then some bright spark thinks up the idea of premiership plus to charge even more for what we were paying for in the first flippin' place - Grrrrr I subscribe to Virgin (and before you say it, yes, I agree they are bunch of self abusers too), and at least with them the "Season" ticket is only £1 per month for the premiership plus games - not that I subscribe, if you remember from my previous postings, No Leeds United no me watchee - but I though you guys might not know this.
