YR's business, not LUFC though. And YR would not necessarily make a hell of a taxable profit, unless you know the nature of the LUFC work and the profit margins, plus YR's normal business operations & profit?
Only 2 issues I can see for YR, declaration of the VAT on the LUFC invoice, and the inclusion of the LUFC 'order' on their annual accounts, which won't be due for some time yet (so cannot be scrutinised to see if said values are on them). And that assumes the debt isn't something like a penalty clause or a contract value for work that was to be done in their next financial year (like a season ticket advertising campaign in July or whatever). In other words scenarios exist whereby the debt is entirely valid and yet it has absolutely nothing to do with HMRC at the moment (but would possibly be next FY). > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:leedslist- > [EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of RickD > Sent: 27 June 2007 14:58 > To: leedslist > Subject: [LU] Yorkshire Radio > > Yes but then YR would make a hell of a taxable profit and that very > much IS > their business. > > ----- Original Message ----- > IR job isn't to tell companies how to run their business, if LUFC > decide to > pay YR £400k for a copy of yesterday's paper that is entirely their > business, not IR's. > > > _______________________________________________ > the Leeds List is an unmoderated mailing list and the list > administrators accept no liability for the personal views and opinions > of contributors. > Leedslist mailing list > [email protected] > http://list.zetnet.co.uk/mailman/listinfo/leedslist > Join The Leeds United Supporters Trust at www.lufctrust.org _______________________________________________ the Leeds List is an unmoderated mailing list and the list administrators accept no liability for the personal views and opinions of contributors.
