I assume that depends on whether Ken Bates' is the best choice of rescue package to get us promoted? Some of the other offers had more money available to invest in the squad, if they were in control would we stand a better chance of promotion? Niall Quinn's consortium didn't takeover Sunderland until late July but they provided sufficient funds to their untried manager to win the Championship. I also think you have to question how important, in the scale of things, you consider getting promoted NEXT season is, and whether Ken Bates agrees with you or not.
