Shortly after was the QPR game - we were poor and drew 0-0. The Kop was angry and booing the players - Nicholls came to applaud the fans and got a shed load of abuse. To be honest, if I was him, right about this time I'd have thought "fuck 'em, I'm out of here". Not long after he was dropped after reportedly asking for a transfer to Luton.
