Thank god the people at KPMG got their finger out and bought back the club for a quid. What I find most amusing is Bates' position - like he has some divine right to own the club.
I may have missed something, not being into corporate/business law 'n' all that, but isn't that the risk when you go into administration? That the administrators take it into their own hands to resolve the situation rather than causing the whole thing going to the wall (as a protracted legal battle might). Bates' posturing is pathetic. Each statement from the club is even more laughable than the next. Oh, and taking about laughable, has anyone actually heard Yorkshire Radio interviewing Bates? Calling him "Chairman" all the time - give me a break. Who was ever in doubt that it's a Bates propaganda tool. How convenient that it suddenly ended up being a creditor - don't make me laugh.
