Agree completely. It is a total joke. Unfortunately no matter how many times
you tell journalists, their sub-editors get their hands on it and before you
know it they have printed some lazy crap like fans chief or fans leader.
They simply have no idea, and don't really care anyway, about how much they
piss off the likes of yourself when they write or say things like this.
There is not much that anyone can do about it so it is going to happen but
it is not because anyone claims any such position. You are though being
highly selective. There are just as many, if not more instances where the
article or soundbite makes it perfectly clear that the Trust is NOT claiming
to speak on behalf of the fans as a whole. You appear not to have noticed. I
guess you wouldn't get the cheap shot in if you took a more realistic and
more balanced approach, and this IS nothing more than a cheap shot. Nothing
personal at all Richard but I can't control lazy sub editors and I'm sure
that you are fully aware of that.

What on earth do you find to wonder about at that ? I used to play full
games on Saturday mornings, full games on Saturday afternoons and frequently
a full game on a Sunday. All that says is that I was a reasonable player at
local level and fairly fit. What do you find to wonder about ? I would never
have been a season ticket holder back then anyway as that much money was way
beyond my dreams.

Well if your posts amount to your shouting your mouth off on this list then
your terminology is fair enough.

The Trust cannot represent those who do not wish to be represented and the
Trust makes no attempt to do so. We speak for Trust members and do our best
to act in the wider best interests of Leeds fans generally.
The few awkward questions you mention were fairly stinging attacks on the
accounts as being described by the club to the fans. I think subsequent
events bear out and fully vindicate the need to agressively question what we
were being told at that time.
Were you at the forum Richard and what questions did YOU ask ?
I'm not suggesting that you didn't, it is a serious question.

>Let them get on with it - visions of grandeur me thinks.

Sorry but this is entirely a product of your own imagination.
The Trust has no delusions about its place in the grander scale of things.
I really don't think this exchange has much at all to do with the Trust and
it is really more about your own personal attitudes. You frequently appear
to adopt an us and them approach for no obvious reason and with no obvious
justification. Just my opinion of course. I hope you really mean -Let them
get on with it - because that's all we ask to do really. If you are excluded
then it is your own choice entirely and one which you are free to make. It's
a pity, but there it is.
I assume that there is no point in asking you to join the Trust so that
youmight no longer see it as an us and them thing ?
