Due to the club's fall into administration and subsequent relegation from the Championship, two of our youngsters have indicated they believe their futures lie elsewhere and have turned down the offer of scholarships. Danny Ward and Ben Gordon are both talking to other interested parties, but the club remains entitled to compensation. Another youngster Danny Rose has, as he is entitled to do, resigned from the club's scholarship scheme. The club can do nothing to prevent him leaving, but do retain compensation rights for two years.
