I found it interesting in the wording of the League statement, where it says that while we have not been allowed to sign new players to a contract we have been perfectly OK to release or sell players (see Nichols). Another piece of mis-information?.
Of course that would have raised money that could have been used to fund the daily running expenses, in administration and so weakened the threats of certain parties, to shut us down and the need for a rushed process...especially as another section of the League letter says quite plainly that the club could continue to play while in admin. Which reminds me? Looking at some of the transfer figures over the last couple of days what price some of out more saleable assets or are the prospective buyers waiting, like vultures for the continued possibility of non-issuance of the Golden Share.?? That's even cheaper than the knocked-down value of a chairman's careless words. _______________________________________________ the Leeds List is an unmoderated mailing list and the list administrators accept no liability for the personal views and opinions of contributors.
