Yup, this also occurred to me last night after seeing something on SSN and thinking over the day's events.
More to the point is that presumably all the FL members vote on this, ie the other club chairmen/representatives. Aside from a few being pissed off LUFC escaped a points deduction for the upcoming season (and therefore wanting some kind of retribution) you also have the situation where other League 1 chairmen, by delaying the golden share being given to us, are effectively able to nobble our pre-season preparations. I have no doubt they want us in the League, even if they had the power to not let us back in, because of the revenue they will get playing Leeds. > -----Original Message----- > From: Paul Dally [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: 12 July 2007 21:34 > To: Mark Humphries; 'Sean Emmott'; 'Nick Allen' > Cc: 'LEEDS LIST' > Subject: Re: [LU] FL Decision delayed > > My reading of the situation is that it all those people who hated Leeds > in > the 70's are getting their revenge. > > When Leicester City went to admin with Gary Lineker involved it was > approved > almost immediately - bloody double standards in my view irrespective of > your > view of Ken Bates. _______________________________________________ the Leeds List is an unmoderated mailing list and the list administrators accept no liability for the personal views and opinions of contributors.
