>>Does anyone remember a quasi-documentary about post 2nd WW british architecture that ran some time in the early 90's? I think it was on BBC 2 or Channel 4. Looked at portacabins, and holiday caravans, and other examples of democratization at work? The name of the series and the filmmaker?<< Probably "Abroad in Britain" by Jonathan Meades (of which there have been several series), though it could be "Signs of the Times" by Nick Barker, which was a very stylised programme about people's houses without narration - just the owners' explanations of their homes. There was a very funny follow-up called A to B about cars and their owners.
