At risk of adding petrol to the fire.......the following opinion on the 'takeover' shenanigins was cut from the Teamtalk website. It is apparently the view of a Leeds United supporter:
"Please God not Morris. I live in Boston where his Standing Alone company were buying my local club and in the end it all went south. A local business bought Standing Alone as Morris had dragged his feet for so long (six months!) that we only had 3 players left and the ground was for sale. Surprise Surprise, Krasner turned up in there as well! It turned out that Standing Alone kept reneging on previous agreements including the paying the wages of all employees which hadn't happened for 4 months. It might be he was stalling to see what happened to LUFC but even so Boston United obviously meant nothing to him but a piece of land for houses. He may claim to be a Leeds fan but he's more interested in Elland Road as a money spinner away from LUFC. Maybe Franks is the better option." So two questions - there has been extensive anti-Bates posting from various people - do those people see the consortium including Simon Morris as being a better alternative? And do they think Krasner is impartial in his observations?
