A bit of advice, I would keep this view to yourself if you go to any Leeds games mate. By previous owners the obvious comparison is Peter the Riddler. He f*cked us big style but (his ego apart) I think that he had LUFC's best interests at heart although clearly misguided. Bates is in a league of his own IMHO. Has it escaped your attention that under his Chairmanship we have ended up playing in the 3rd tier of football for the first time in our history? I'm not sure you realise what a serious position we are in old lad. For very good reasons the FL is basically not prepared to hand the Golden Share to Bates' new company. By any definition we are f&cked and this could be the end. Yes Bates took a gamble taking us on but taking us into administration was a massive gamble and he may just have lossed. He can return to Monaco fingers burnt and lick his wounds in luxury. For me it could mean not having the team I have supported for 44 years in my life any more. So yes I understand why some fans have said the things they have about him.
