What exactly is it about the 'c' word that so offends people? I know it does, and I use it reservedly, but why is it any more offensive than 'chuff' or 'minge'?
Is it because it has a hard 'c' sound? Also, do those people who find such offense at reading the word, also find offence at 'cnut' for example, which I and others have used in the past without sanction? Why is that? Genuine musing on my part. _______________________________________________ the Leeds List is an unmoderated mailing list and the list administrators accept no liability for the personal views and opinions of contributors.
