Ferdinand's exit, financially speaking, was a decent piece of business by
Ridsdale et al - anyone can have an off day :-))
However, my recollection is that Ferdinand drove the whole process,
effectively declaring his intention to move to Salford and his absolute
disinterest in representing Leeds again.
This apparently happened following "tapping up" by various Salford players
accompanying Ferdinand in the England squad at the major tournament that
year.
IMHO that puts Ferdinand into the Judas top 3 any day of the week.
