Seb Carole had pace and an excellent first touch, his run set up the second goal and turned the match for us. We were dead lucky when their first half shot hit the right peg (as viewed from the Kop) and rebounded the full width of the goal, just the right side of the line, towards the corner flag. Favourite chants: "to the Football League, fack off, to the Football League, fack off;" "only nine more points to zero, na, na, na, na;" "tresor kandol scored an effing great goal in the scouse sh*thole;" No anti-Bates stuff, only one "get your father's gun," but no "get the chewlsea out of Leeds." Just hope that Thompson can keep injury free for a couple of months at least. I observed that Kandol isn't a Yeboah, or even a Phil Masinga.
