Back from me hols in Robin Hood's Bay & the Corbieres, and finally (after some hiccups) back on the list.
Obviously thrilled about the 4 wins (stattoes.............when was the last time we achieved that?) Must admit I am starting to warm to the little cockney shite. Couple of random thoughts............ Has a manager of a team 9 points adrift at the bottom of the league ever exhorted the fans to "keep their feet on the ground" before? Can't help harbouring hopes that the point penalty will still be rescinded or at l;east reduced.....................as someone said, AC Milan lose 8 pts for match fixing (over a number of years), and we lose 25 for financial skullduggery ? Yorkshire cricket: Less than 2 years ago I went to Lahore to watch a Test Match. Last week, both of the captains in that match were playing for Yorks (Vaughan & Inzy.) They scored 13 runs between them..................and Yorks won by an innings and 210. Funny old game. Anybody else think that Voronin for Liverpool is reminiscent of Tony Currie..................not the long bolnd hair and pony tail, but something about the smooth way he kicks the ball with very little backlift which was a big part of Currie's genius. Read 2 Leeds books over the summer....................Game of their life, which was 95% crap, and Looking for eric which was 75% good stuff. That's all.................Bottom of the League!
