Agree about Skull (Aspin) - limited but solid. Compare with Mills - f***ing useless tackler, half-decent shot, thought he was Rivellino. Ditto your views on Blind John - simply scared himself to death when he couldn't pick it up - plus all those excuses, which I don't think I've ever heard another goalie say, about losing it in the floodlights! Most players of the last 2 years would get in the squad - they'd probably be the worst 2 teams we could put out - Gregan et al. Blimey - Fat Frank - had forgotten that dozey tw*t. Scored a great goal on his debut and Mad Dog thought he was the Messiah (a mess more like - copyright Monty Python). Shame he couldn't run and discovered pies! Butterworth (no buts he's got to be butted) - pub footballer, but did he score more than Healy for us (stattos please advise)? And old Octopussy, wouldn't make the sh*te 11 (and I hated him) because at least he could run and tried.
