Eh up Steve, Didn't see said programme but I've just had a word with a bloke here who knows him and basically (and this is his understanding and in no way represents the views of the list - is that ok listowner ??) Morris has allegedly been involved in a scam which involves him purchasing property and then letting them out to folk on short term lets - high rents. As a result he then gets them evaluated and sold at inflated prices. When the purchaser finally gets his property it is for a vastly inflated price and no tennents who have since f*cked off. Apparently Morris's business has gone into admin and his two evaluaters arrested. Bit of an escape for Leeds don't you think however it was never going to happen cos the administrators will have known all about this and is probably why his bid was rejected.
