Apart from gathering the world's largest collection of uncircumsised leedslist footers (eh up lads, there's a new thread for them what's bored wi' rugby) my list inbox has only garnered a few interesting comments from you lot this week, specifically speculation about : 1) The efficacy of 'flu' jabs (which I had just over three weeks ago, followed by the usual feeling of being a bit under the weather a fortnight later). 2) The relative merits of Rugby Union (which I played for quite a while before they ruined the lines-out and scrums) versus League (of which I have never partaken, either as a participant or spectator). 3) England's performance against the Springboks (which I viewed briefly in the bowels of a Weatherspoons in Highbury) where I couldn't understand why the English backs were always passing the ball to each other at neck height, instead of into the breadbasket. 4) A single allusion possibly doubting the parentage of our treasured third in line to the throne of our once glorious country. Mind you he doesn't half look like him, doesn't he? But that is what the list is really all about - diversity. Maybe we should charge Paw Broon for teaching the politicos how to really manage a multi-cultural society. Dunderhead some mornings it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps p.s. haven't seen anything from the Sarge lately, or the (original) B in the Black for that matter (I expect that he is otherwise engaged) _______________________________________________ the Leeds List is an unmoderated mailing list and the list administrators accept no liability for the personal views and opinions of contributors.
