Ciould not agre more. All the retrosexual bollox that gets spouted in the  
bike press really pises me off. Ok so there arent that many Vincent lightenings 
 
kicking around thus there is a market for copies ( that are invariably better 
 than the original). But why get a 1940s replica ? You can get a perfectly  
reasonable ZZR for no money at all that will leave the rep for dead. 
 
Anothe test Briggsy, anyone who has never ridden an VFR 750 ( possibly the  
finest all round bike ever) or who has not been on  a track day having  ridden 
their own bike there. They will have wrist ache anyhow as they will never  get 
any in  a month of sundays
