Have to say I was disappointed with the performances of many individuals and the team as a whole.
Leeds very rarely passed the ball to their own team in the last third of the pitch, and the forwards, who I was expecting would make the difference, actually looked the weakest part of the team, much less effective than Hereford's front men. Scores. Ankergren 6 - Couple of good saves, couple of dodgy crosses & kicks. Rui Marques 5 - Expected better after the reports - looked lost at right back. Huntington 6 - Steady. Heath 7 - Better than I expected, held the defence together. Parker 7- Impressed, unlucky booking another day it wouldn't even have been a foul. Established defenders get away with that all the time. Up against a very quick winger. Weston 3 - Very poor, Lost the ball every time, was playing against the top youngster from Liverpool. Douglas 5 - Couldn't believe how bad he is as a footballer. There are times when work rate alone is not enough. The captain and full international should be dominating the game against Div 4 opponents. Howson 6 - Passed and controlled the ball well, but not in the game enough. Carole 6 - Had a purple patch in the 2nd quarter, but faded again. Beckford 6 - Looked to have pace & skill, but lost the ball too much. Kandol 4 - Not one aspect of his performance that was good. Assume he has had, and will have, better days. Da Costa 6 - A couple of good things when he first came on. Constantine - not on long enough. As has already been said the fact that this was the third long away trip in 6 days is a mitigating circumstance.
