I saw The Smiths at Leeds Uni around 1985 and got in their dressing room afterwards.
Me and my mate Johnny Dunne wandered off down a corridor and some bloke asked us where the toilets were. I said, haven't a clue and my mate nearly wet himself on the spot as I'd just spoken to Johnny Marr. We got into the dressing room and Morrisey was being fawned over by two girls. We chatted to all of them a while then left but not before my mate disgraced himself. He had a rag mag and asked all of the band to sign it. He asked one bloke who said he wasn't in the band, JD insisted he was and the bloke wrote Sitting on people's faces should be socially acceptable. At this point it should be noted that we had partaken alcohol during the course of the evening. Then saw Morrissey at Leeds Fest in 2006.
