WHat about Magic Moments? Last week I was reminded of being passed overhead down the packed kop to the front as a youngster and then getting crushed on the wall as we beat arsenal 3-0 for example. Or nearly getting Billy's sock tabs one game.
I remember being taken to Anfield (a night match I think?) by my dad when I was about 8 or 9 years old (this will likely be Leeds first season in the 1st division after promotion) - I was sporting a (what seemed then) huge Leeds rosette and at half time went wondering off around the Kop. When dad realised that I have gone and where we were he was apparently having kittens, but I was well treated by everyone and helped back to my dad. I couldn't see too well over the crown so policeman pulled me out and took me to the pitch side and sat me on the wall of the St John's dug out - which was literally a dug out with a wall! - there were 4 or 5 young scousers about the same age as me already there and the policeman told them "No fighting with him" and left me there - the view was brilliant! To this day my dad still talks about that trip.
