May have told this one before... Aged 9 - first day at new school - which being in Bedfordshire was largely full of Luton and Arsenal fans. Teacher in attempting to break the ice - goes round class asking everyone who they support. Kid next to me asked first - says Arsenal - teacher says "Ah, they beat Leeds 7-0 last night", turns to next kid, Me. Who do you support ? I answer "Leeds" and promptly burst into tears. Matt -------- 3 days earlier we'd played Arsenal at home in League Cup 2nd Round 1st leg and drew 1-1. 3 days later they beat us in the 2nd leg 7-0 !
