p.s. the Kilmarnock goalie was Bobby Ferguson and I seem to remember that he
wore bright scarlet shorts. This recollection might seem bizarre but it was
apposite on the night.
p.p.s. the influx of new blood and a new backroom team will dissipate the
siege mentality of the last six months so how long will it be before the new
team spirit really builds? It's all very well making wholesale changes but
there is always the chance...
