I have had a request to post the following, which I'm more than happy to do.
C'mon lads and lasses, into the archives - Vern, what about a donkey pic? Betty Hello to all, I am working on a short sports timeline to be shown in the new Leeds City Museum (due to open August 2008). This aims to celebrate sport in Leeds and we are mainly focusing on cricket, football and rugby. I am looking for anyone who has access to old programmes, ticket stub, cigarette cards, photos, scrapbooks banners……..basically anything to do with Leeds United! We will scan these items in and use them to illustrate important events in Leeds United’s history. The more Leeds memorabilia we have access to, the more time we can spend on it in the timeline (at the moment it is mainly rugby and cricket!!). Please contact me via email on [EMAIL PROTECTED] or on 0161 832 7151 if you think you may be able to help – oh we also need images and programmes for Leeds United ladies team. It would be great if you could scan it in yourself, we need 300dpi, high res, as large as possible, jpeg files. Looking forward to hearing from you, Lucy.
