Delete the F***er and install Firefox!

But if you *must* have IE then I rather think (although I admit to being
a tad weak on this one) you might be best re-installing over the top,
and if that doesn't work then restore the computer back to before you
tried to upgrade (at least from there you can try again on a clean slate
if necessary)

I've reinstalled Internet Explorer Version 7 on XP.
  When I open it, it goes to "Customise Your Settings" page everytime.
  I've choosen the setting I require but when I click on the "Update
Settings" it just sits there!
  I can open other tabs and work normally but it's becoming a pain.
  Anyone know how I can manually get rid of it?
