Just turned on PC so thanks for concern - have been suffering the 3 "S" s -
shakes, sweats and sh*its but still cannot stop grinning. The 5 or 6 pre match
pints, the morphine patch and the handfuls of dihydrocodiene and paracetamol
did the business. I am GOING TO WEMBLEY !!!!
It was great fun to stand even if I did have to stand just in front of a
crash barrier with an old lady to cut down on buffeting and pushing etc.

So on to the game - awesome, awesome, awesome. This will live long in the
memory for those who were there (whether you 'earned' your ticket or not :-)))

It was the same team and formation as Monday and so I was a bit worried that
our lack of width going forward and lack of cover defensively would cost us
again - I should be shot for my lack of faith!! Step forward one Frazer
Richardson, that was the best game he has EVER had for us - he was immense and
because of my criticism of him in the past I have given him my ManOfMatch
award. He was so good that their number 18 who had caused us so many problems
in the other 3 games (sign him up Macca ?) had to be switched to the other wing
to get him out of Frazers pocket ! Not that he fared any better up against
Johnson who was another having his best game in that position (OK it was only
his third game at LB) Kilkenny was another who chose this important game to
have his best game for us - second half especially he always seemed to have the
ball and was doing good things with it.

Others to stand out in a night of heroes were Howson with the 2 goals, Lubo
and Hunts who stood tall at the back, Prutts who ran his socks off, Douglas who
covered every blade of grass in front of the back four showing how important he
is to us away from home. Freedman who was his normal clever probing self and
who gave the pass for both goals, Becks who had a few good long range shots and
finally Casper who did everything that was asked of him (which in truth was not
a lot so much in control were we for much of the game)
Yes all XI deserve an actual mention.
We were all expecting extra time but I felt confident that we would triumph
in it since we were very much on top and they were looking tired , ragged and
without ideas, when the ball was stroked from Freedman to Howson who took a
touch and buried it in the corner !! We went ballistic in our end. Before that
we had hit the post sent a few just wide and a few a long way wide and their
keeper again pulled off some good saves. They had the odd good patch but we
were better. And with our belief and commitment and never say die attitude it
was no surprise to win with almost the last kick of the game (Tranmere, Yoevil
at home, Oldham away plus others spring to mind)

Lets just hope we do ourselves justice at Wembley.

As we all know these are a long way off being the best set of players to wear
our shirt but they are amongst the most loyal committed and appreciative of
being at Leeds. They are legends one and all.

I did not join in the over 40s debate but to me 14 or 40 last night was
brilliant and I feel proud and honoured to have been there
