Give Wembley a wide berth for pubs - it's sh1te. There's lots of decent boozers near Edgware Road, which is only 5-10 mins walk from Marylebone.
Even the Green Man at Great Portland Street, or the Argyll Arms at Oxford Circus, both of which are only a stop or two from Baker St, serve decent beer. Suspect that the Wetherspoons on Baker St (right outside the tube station) will be mobbed.
