Being eternally optimistic, I got my International Membership in, in good time, and received e-mail confirmation that I was an International Member. Even before that I had booked a flight from Tel Aviv to London on the 23rd and booked a reasonably priced hotel in London for 3 nights. I am now in exactly the same predicament as you Guy! I have no confirmation that my request form for a ticket was received or the application accepted or how to get my ticket. If I can pick it up at Wembley, where from and how do I do that without ever having received a membership card? If they have sent ( or will send) the ticket by post by mistake, there's absolutely no chance of getting it in time. I wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat dreaming of getting to London without any notion of getting my ticket. The notice on the officious site today just adds to the confusion "When you submit an application you will receive confirmation on screen NOT by e-mail". What does "on screen" mean? HELP please anyone!
