Is there any distance in writing to an MP on this one?

>From my past experience in political activity.......

I would make a point of VISITING your MP at his/her surgery - let them
see that you are a reasonable and normal human being (you can pretend
that can't you Tim?) :-) (sorry mate!) and not a knuckle dragging thug
- which is likely the first thought they have when football fan is
mentioned. Keep at them too, follow your meeting with a letter stating
that you expect to hear from him/her by XXX (however long you set, but
give them at least a couple of weeks) - remember it is always the
squeaky hinge which gets the oil.

You might also write to the MP representing the constituency the away
ground is in and mention your visit to your MP - tell your MP of this
letter, you want them to liaise with each other - and point out that the
fans will be there no matter what time they set the game for and that
this is a serious infringement of your rights to attend a legal activity
etc etc etc

I am quite happy to see my MP on our behalf - can we build a list of how
many different constituencies we can get at? (no problem if more than
one per constituency visit the MP - in fact this is seriously desirable)
- we need to move fast on this because the idle gits have 12 weeks leave
coming up real soon

Mine is Leeds North East
