In the interview with Kamara he says that he was offered double the wages he was on at Stoke plus a huge signing on fee plus a huge bonus for helping us gain pormotion. When Kamara said OK but I have got to go to Boro as a courtesy they came back and offered him an extra £20k. He said "I was happy with first offer but have to go to Boro cos Gibson was an old mate" - they then came back with an extra £25K and an even bigger promotion bonus !!!! Crazy !! Much as I loved the way Kamara played for us that season and I do know it was his cross for Chappy at Bournemouth but come on, double wages and and extra £45K signing on fee (in addtion to what they first offered him) and a huge promotion bonus - totally stupid bargaining when he said he would have accepted the first offer !
