In one sense Paul's right. Unemployment is a curse and should not be
wished on anyone, but in Poyet's case we'll make an exception (Rich is
correct in his assessment). However, I reckon Spurs will get relegated
whoever is in charge and Poyet was definately helping that one along.
As Paul says, Poyet and Ramos should really have been given the push
after having finished the job. If and when they do get relegated I'll
have to bear the crocodile tears of my Southern Jessie in-laws as they
blubber about "their" team, a team they've only seen on Sky Sports so
this one has a lot riding on it for me. But not as much as the demise
of Bates (in whatever form). If anyone else tells me he's done a good
job I'll puke on 'em. Third division my arse. As for Leslie getting
upset about me asking if Bates is dead, he clearly wasn't around when
Stokoe was on his way out. You should hear me on the subject of the day
I met a cousin of Ian Porterfield's at my aunty's house in Scumderland,
Les - now that would cheer you up :-)
