We're basically playing 4 central midfielders at the moment and though i think Delph was nominally on the left and Howson on the right last night, they tended to all end up in the middle. Our options wide tended to be Frazer or Parker who had little support or Beckford. I think at least one proper wide player needs to play. I'm not sure this is necessarily Robinson as i'm not convinced he's fit enough to be effective for a whole game - looks much better coming on against a tiring defence. Snodgrass was probably more threatening last night - though i'm not completely convinced about him either. As to who you'd leave out, i'd probably have to say Howson. I thought Kilkenny was the best of the midfielders last night and was unlucky to be subbed (as he was on Saturday) and though Delph was very in and out (one great shot the keeper tipped over first half, a couple of nice runs but gave the ball away too much) he's the class act who needs to play until he needs a rest. We probably need Sheehan back as well, Parker had a bit of a nightmare first half, though lacking in support. I'd imagine we'll see Lucas again as well, Casper got beat on 'his' side from a free-kick and also dropped 2 fairly innocuous crosses but got away with it. It seems we get overrun in the middle and having 2 up top actually creates less chances. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Richard Walker" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Macca is beginning to frustrate me.
