So I had a look at the clip and I dont know WHEN the clip or movie was
shot however.. in the clip they mention that the first drummer
died in a freak gardening accident. obviously its a joke, its spinal
tap.
However this has happened in REAL life to a GREAT drummer:

An autopsy revealed a serious heart condition that had been previously
undiagnosed.
