Guys, sorry to post this on the list, but I thought one of you kind souls would be able to steer me in the right direction. It's been a long time since I've done any "real" IT work, well probably about 7-8 years. I've been asked by a friend who has a small company, to advise him of what spec of Server he would need to run his business. At present he's only got a glorified PC serving his 10-15 employees in the office who are using the network for Sage Accounts and basic word processing etc. In the good old days, I'd have spec'ed a Server from the likes of Dell and got a 25 seat licence for NT, stuck in some basic RAID and a decent Tape Backup. But I genuinely have no idea of what Spec I'd need and the licencing of Windows Server software doesn't seem to make sense anymore..... If anyone would be so kind as to give me a little help, I would greatly appreciate it. Best wishes and thanks in hopeful anticipation, Verner
