Anyone go yesterday (Dave , Matt ?) - sounded horrendous on the radio. Even Eddie was tutting at the lack of direction. Sounded like more defensive errors and an attack lacking any cutting edge withough Beckford. When I saw the team sheet I thought there's no way we can get a result with a team containing Enoch, Bechio, Prutton , Douglas and Telfer - all not good enough in my opinion. And why does Macca continue to fuck around with the formation / defence ? Every week there's a change , and every week somebody f'cks up. I think it's really worrying what's going on at the moment. It seems to me that Staunton and Macca are admitting that they dont' know their best team and certainly can't direct the defence to do what they should be. The away form is relegation not promotion and if we don't improve mid table is looking most likely and that is not good enough. Since Macca arrived we have relied on key players to pull us through - last season Freedman, Beckford and Howson did the job, this season it's mainly Beckford. I think the squad players aren't good enough.
