Didn't go Mike but met up later with some lads that went and they were all of the opinion that unfortunatley it's time for Macca to go. I was the only one suggesting that Macca needs a bit more time but I think that's more my heart than my head because if you look at what is happening week in week out now you can only see a future when Beckford returns so we can score more than we are conceding. We've been conceding the same type of goals now since the start of the season and no matter who Macca picks and which defensive formation he goes for we continue to make the same basic mistakes. So, do we assume that all the defenders are not up to it ? Or is it the coaching and what they are been told to do in training. I would suggest the latter. Yesterday he took Lubo off at half-time and put the new lad into the centre. What was the result ? The same, we concede a headed goal from a cross (the new lad went missing in midfied apparently). Macca wants new blood in Jan to solve the problem but will it? As my mate says "we could have John Terry at the back and still look all at sea".
I think Leicester is a good game to have next. We're expected to get a hiding but if we got a result, who knows that could be a turning point in terms of confidence, which is rock bottom at the moment. It's all very worrying.
