Not gossip. It's on the agenda for the IFAB meeting in Newcastle, NI in March.
Was proposed by the Northern Irish FA. It will get thrown out. Also proposed
that the loop hole for Van Nistelroy's "offside" goal is ratified and that half
time should be 20 mins to allow time to travel to and from changing rooms. This
last one was thrown out 2 years ago when proposed by Germany to allow more time
for tv advertising. This time it's for increased time for rest by players and
officials. I guess it's all in the wording!

OK, so it's just a bit of newspaper gossip at the moment, but what does
everyone think about the concept?

Sin bins for yellow card offences will be discussed this month by the
International Football Association Board. (Daily Mail)

Also, just to infuriate ... well just about anyone really! Take a look at
what our next owner did with his previous club!

Former Newcastle majority shareholders Freddy Shepherd, Sir John Hall and
their families made almost £146m from their time at St James' Park,
according to figures released by the club. (Guardian)
