Has Beckford been fined by the club does anyone know? He should be. It was
his own stupid fault that he got banned and even although he'd been pushed
around a bit before hand, that's a strikers job.
Defeat at Hudd yesterday I hold him partly responsible for. It's impossible
to say whether he would have scored, but as leading scorer by a mile, the
odds of victory would have increased if he'd played and it's not like we
were battered
and made no chances.
Golden boy turned temporary villain for me. I hope he realises what an idiot
he's been
and feels a deep sense of embarrassment and that he's let us all down when
he returns. However, a few more goals under his belt and all this will be
forgotten I'm sure. If we miss playoffs or promotion by a point or two,
perhaps the
incident will haunt him for some time. He'll be a better player for it mind.
